4.2.2

Approval questions you can read at a glance

When a noHuman asks for your approval, you now see a short question and a small table of exactly what Approve records, instead of a long bold paragraph.

  • What Approve records, as a table. The action, the product, where, the version, and how long it lasts, in days: “30 days, unless you revoke it”. The question itself is normal text, and the line under Approve that repeated all of this is gone.
  • Shorter questions. noHumans ask in one short sentence and list what is covered and what is not on separate lines.
  • The same on the phone. The mobile companion shows a question’s first line on its card; Answer opens the whole question, formatted, with the same table.

4.2.1

A right-click menu, and an app that recovers by itself

Right-click to ask a noHuman about something, remember it, search for it, or quote and forward a message. Version 4.2.1 also makes the app recover by itself after a long night, and keeps messages to your noHumans from failing.

  • A right-click menu for your team. On selected text: Ask about this, Remember this (a note in the team’s memory or one noHuman’s), and Search this conversation or all chats. On a message: Copy, Quote in reply and Forward to another noHuman. Forwarding only fills that noHuman’s message box; you read it and press send.
  • Conversations say when they are still loading. A busy noHuman’s conversation shows “Loading this conversation…” instead of looking empty, and offers Try again if it cannot be read.
  • The app recovers by itself. After many hours, often across sleep, the app’s background service could stop reaching anything by name, so messages failed and the phone kept trying to connect. It now checks itself and restarts automatically, bringing your team back.
  • Fixes. Messages to a noHuman no longer fail with “fetch failed”. Quitting leaves nothing running in the background, even after a crash. Returning to a long conversation takes you back to where you were reading more reliably.

4.2.0

You decide what only you can decide

Questions only you can answer always reach you, your approvals are recorded and checked, and the first message after you start the app is answered in seconds again. Version 4.2.0 also improves teamwork between noHumans and how they use the browser.

  • Questions only you can answer reach you. Passwords or keys, your own accounts, payments, publishing or submitting under your name, deleting data, and agreements always come to you, even when a teammate started the work.
  • Approvals with a scope and an end date. Your Approve records an approval for one action and, when given, one product, store or version. noHumans check it before acting and cite it instead of quoting you. Needs you → All requests lists your approvals, with Revoke.
  • Change autonomy from a permission request. Each request says which mode made the noHuman ask. More freedom allows the request and switches modes when the noHuman finishes its current work; a stricter mode denies it and applies at once.
  • Teamwork that survives a restart. Follow-ups on delegated work are kept, the noHuman that delegated hears when work is reported completed or stopped, a noHuman sees newer messages before it replies, and a new noHuman can report to a new leader.
  • A browser that works more like a person. Human-paced clicks and typing on public websites, dropdowns, keys, hovering and kept downloads, no 50 MB upload limit, and site permissions per noHuman.
  • Fixes. The first message after you start the app no longer waits 3 to 5 minutes. Two teams running at once no longer mix their tools. Repeating messages no longer ask for your go-ahead, and a held message can be dismissed.

4.1.7

Conversations that stop when they should

noHumans no longer reply to each other forever, while real work keeps moving. Version 4.1.7 adds a helper model for background jobs and makes leaders’ follow-ups match the work.

  • Loops wait for you. A message several hops into a chain of noHuman-to-noHuman messages, with no real work in between, waits for your go-ahead instead of starting another turn. Continue it from Needs you, the noHuman’s chat or the sidebar. A noHuman that has just done real work starts a fresh chain.
  • A helper model for background jobs. Team settings → AI models → Helper model picks one small model for the Archivist, heartbeat checks and loop checks, separate from each noHuman’s own model. Automatic uses the fastest small model your Claude or ChatGPT subscription offers.
  • Check before pausing. When this is on, the helper model reads the last few messages: real progress carries on, a loop waits. If it cannot decide, the message waits too.
  • Follow-ups that match the work. A progress reply no longer cancels a leader’s follow-up, and a due follow-up first shows what the worker is doing.
  • Fixes. The Archivist saves to memory through the helper model; its classification calls could fail every time before. A Claude noHuman switched back to Claude after weeks on another model starts a fresh conversation instead of failing every message.

4.1.6

Finish setup without starting over

Launch your team and continue to the model-review checklist. Version 4.1.6 fixes the return to the first wizard step, checks the initial ChatGPT model, and reduces Windows installer files.

  • Keep your setup progress. After launch, review each noHuman’s model in the post-setup checklist instead of repeating the wizard.
  • Check model access during launch. For a new ChatGPT team, setup sends a short check message to one noHuman when the initial model needs verification. If your plan refuses it, setup tries another model. If the check cannot finish, confirm the model in the checklist.
  • Fewer files on Windows. Installation omits unused files and shortens some telemetry dependency paths. Installation time still depends on your computer.

4.1.5

Less to install, clearer updates

Installers contain fewer files to extract, copy and check. App updates explain the installation step, while setup checks the AI software your team needs.

  • Lighter packages. Unused third-party build files and an unused bundled Claude executable are omitted. Runtime files, native modules, licence texts and agent skills stay in the app. Windows keeps differential updates.
  • Clearer app updates. Mac signature checks run in the background. The app checks whether it can replace its installation, offers a manual download when needed, and explains the wait before reopening.
  • Checked AI software. Setup checks required versions and reports installation progress and retry. Updates settings show installed versions and the versions this release supports; model discovery keeps your selected model unchanged.

4.1.4

Choose your folder and let the app prepare your AI

Choose a team folder through your computer’s native folder chooser. If your chosen AI needs software that is missing, install it through setup and follow its progress in the same window.

  • A familiar folder chooser. Choose folder opens Finder on macOS or Explorer on Windows. Setup shows a full path for your computer, including when resuming an older Windows draft.
  • Install through the app. Use Install and continue, approve the installation, and wait for the readiness check. Setup no longer asks you to run terminal commands.
  • Sign in and recover. Missing Claude software is prepared before Claude sign-in. Retry a failed download in place; successful installation updates readiness without restarting the app.

4.1.3

Start a new team and resume its setup

Start with the setup wizard on a fresh installation, before choosing a working folder. Continue unfinished setup with your saved team name and verified working folder after restarting the app.

  • Open the right step. Use Set up team in the sidebar or team list for an unfinished team. Configured teams that still need review open the review step.
  • Keep your progress. Changing the working folder during setup keeps the team name and verified folder together. Setting up one team keeps other teams’ configuration unchanged.
  • Retry a failed load. The wizard waits for saved settings and templates before showing the form. Use Try again if either cannot load; unreadable settings stay intact.

4.1.2

Find a saved message and read it in context

Search saved message text and attachment names from one noHuman’s chat or from Team overview. Select a result to open the exact saved message with nearby history, including messages in available retained archives.

  • One conversation. Select Search in the chat toolbar to open the right-side panel. It searches the selected noHuman’s saved chat; that member stays fixed.
  • The selected team. The compact search field sits below the Team overview header divider. It searches all saved chats in that team, with no owner selector.
  • Keep your draft and place. Search preserves your unsent message, attached draft files and reading position. Opening a result loads a bounded portion of history around that message.
  • Recover and return. Use Try again after a failed search or message load. Use Return to latest to leave the older history view and resume the current conversation.

4.1.1

Open your team’s files beside the conversation

Select a file link, attachment or screenshot in chat to open the right-side viewer. Read a report, watch a video or listen to audio while keeping the conversation in view.

  • Files from the right place. Private noHuman workspace and Memory files open from their own folders; shared files open from the team workspace.
  • Video and audio previews. Use the built-in controls for browser-compatible media. Download a file to keep it or open a format that needs another viewer.
  • Keep your place. Your unsent message, attached draft files and reading position stay intact. Close file inspection to return to Profile or the panel you had open.
  • Switch without stale previews. A delayed file response cannot replace your latest selection. Switching noHumans clears private file inspection.

Choose the signed, Apple-notarized installer for Apple silicon or Intel. This release contains Mac installers only; earlier Windows builds remain in the archive.

4.1.0

Clearer Memory and current work state

Memory pages use a consistent illustrated header and clearer descriptions for current notes, search, work history, reminders, and maintenance. Chats, team pages, and settings follow the same header layout, with spacing that adapts to smaller windows.

  • Personal Memory stays personal. Its owner is fixed to the selected noHuman, including in search. Team Library keeps its owner filter.
  • Work state starts from a current observation. The packaged runtime sends its activity state when a status check or activity stream opens. Waiting, completed turns, and unavailable observations can update the display without relying on replayed events.
  • Local data stays outside the app bundle. An app update keeps team settings, saved conversations, files, and Memory. A running team is stopped before an in-app update is installed.

This release targets Apple silicon and Intel Macs. The installers are signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple. Earlier Windows builds remain in the archive; there is no Windows 4.1.0 installer.

iOS & Android

Store release in preparation

A companion for the team on your computer

The mobile companion is prepared for store distribution. Public App Store and Google Play downloads are not listed yet. It pairs with the desktop app; it does not run agents on the phone.

  • Chats and files: follow final replies, send text, images, and attachments, and inspect teams through their reporting hierarchy.
  • Open, save or share: use a native viewer for video, audio and documents, select another app with Open with, or save a copy to Downloads on Android or Files on iPhone and iPad. The companion uses a 20 MB file-transfer limit.
  • Read older conversations: a floating date label identifies the messages in view while you scroll. Locally cached noHuman and Founder avatars keep identities visible.
  • Attention: answer founder questions and review permission requests. High-risk approvals require typing APPROVE.
  • Connected controls: select models from desktop accounts, compact or reset working context, manage a member's lifecycle, or pause and resume a team.
  • Encrypted pairing: compare device fingerprints before approving the phone. Chat and attachments are encrypted between the phone and computer; Hub relays ciphertext and receives account, pairing, and delivery metadata.

Your paired computer must remain running and online. Push notifications and voice-message sending are not included yet. On-device dictation creates a text draft and does not upload recorded audio.

4.0

Team work, recorded activity, and chat-side inspection

The Mac dashboard redesign brought recent requests and replies into Team work cards, made manual card order explicit, and put Profile, Browser, and diagnostics beside the conversation. Library and individual Memory use the same notes views.

Activity charts separate AI response, Tools, Browser, and Subagents. Most active ranks recorded working time, not completed tasks, quality, or productivity. Missing recording time is unknown.
