noHuman Team 4.0 for Mac: a clearer dashboard, activity charts and Memory

Inspect requests and replies, compare recorded activity, browse team or individual Memory, and keep Profile beside your chat in noHuman Team 4.0 for macOS.

noHuman Team 4.0 updates the dashboard around the work you need to inspect: who asked for something, who replied, what each noHuman is doing, and where to find saved notes. This release includes signed and notarized macOS installers for Apple silicon and Intel Macs. It does not include a Windows 4.0 installer.

Download 4.0 for Mac or read the dashboard guide.

Team work: inspect a request, then open its conversation

On Team overview, each noHuman has a separate Team work card with an avatar, message counts and recorded active time. The progress row identifies the requester and reply recipient. A running worker and active work are different states; “Working now” uses observed work rather than treating an open process as progress.

Select the progress row for a conversation preview. Requests and replies use different bubbles, with names, avatars and timestamps. Select the small activity chart to replace that preview with activity details. You keep one preview open in the card, and switching keeps the panel in place. Select Open conversation when you need the full history.

You can reorder the noHumans and keep your chosen order. Enable Auto arrange by activity if you prefer recent activity to control the order, and filter the cards when you want to focus on part of the team.

Color-coded activity with saved history

Choose Last hour, Today or 7 days. Expand a compact chart to inspect the same recorded history in more detail, with a legend for AI response, Tools, Browser and Subagents. The app saves recordings on your computer so a restart does not start the history from scratch.

The overview also includes:

  • Most active: up to three noHumans, ordered by recorded working time in the selected period.
  • Activity mix: the time recorded in each activity category, including work that happened in parallel.
  • Coming up: upcoming reminders with their owners.

Recorded active time measures observed work time. It does not measure finished tasks, answer quality or productivity. Missing recording time is unknown; partial coverage can change a comparison. Older recordings without categories remain identifiable as earlier activity.

Chat-side Profile, Browser and diagnostics

The model selector sits beside Send and opens the model picker. You no longer need a separate model-and-context card above the conversation.

Profile opens in a resizable right panel. It summarizes responsibilities and capability chips, the selected noHuman's activity, working context, tools and reminders. The working-context ring estimates the space used to follow the current conversation. Saved Memory remains a separate workspace.

Keep Profile open while switching noHumans: you see the new member without reopening the panel. Browser and diagnostics also open beside the conversation. The More menu keeps Settings, diagnostic tools and explicit Stop or Restart controls. Existing attachments, voice dictation, questions and tool details remain part of the chat.

One Memory workspace, with an owner

Use Library for Memory across your team, or use Memory in the chat toolbar for the current noHuman. Both use the same structure and style. Search and owner selection share a toolbar, and each section has an explanation of the notes you can inspect there.

You can review current notes, work threads, journals, past work, reminders and reference notes. Knowledge libraries start with library names; choose one before browsing its files. Maintenance and diagnostic sections remain available without displacing the notes you use each day.

Member names throughout the dashboard include their avatars and link to their chats. Your own messages, Markdown and code remain unchanged.

Team overview stays first in the sidebar, with Conversations close at hand. Library, Tools, Needs you and settings use grouped secondary navigation. You can switch teams from the top of the sidebar, and open app settings from your name and avatar at the bottom.

Use noHuman settings for one member's responsibilities, model, autonomy and work limits. Team settings control shared team configuration. App settings control this computer's accounts, appearance, startup and license. In App settings → Startup, choose whether to restore teams and which team should start first.

Updating to 4.0

Open the app's update control, or download the matching macOS installer. Choose Apple silicon for M-series Macs or Intel for x64 Macs. Your team data lives outside the installed app; replacing the app keeps saved work and conversations. An update may stop a running team before installation, so finish or pause work before choosing Restart to update.

The 4.0 release contains macOS builds only. Use the release archive to check earlier Windows releases and their available assets.

Quick answers

Does “Most active” choose the best worker?

No. It orders up to three noHumans by recorded working time in the chosen period. Review their conversations and outputs to judge results.

Does the chart measure time when the app was not recording?

No. The detail view identifies missing or partial recording coverage. You cannot infer idle time from an unrecorded interval.

Can I keep the dashboard cards in my own order?

Yes. Use Reorder, then leave Auto arrange by activity off. Enable automatic ordering only when you want cards to follow activity.

Where do I find one noHuman's Memory?

Open their chat and select Memory in the toolbar. Library offers the team-wide workspace with owner filtering.
